A taste of the future

Yesterday, Year 11 got a taste of their future options, sampling life at Ryburn Sixth. Students had chance to try out A-level lessons including dissecting fish heads, and practiced teamwork and problem solving with Commando Joe. We also held a future jobs fair where students could meet local employers and find out about apprenticeship opportunities.

Feedback from the students was very positive (apart from the odd one upset because we wouldn't let them out to the chippy!). They found it useful and enjoyed the experience and all the different subjects on offer.

“Changed my view of Ryburn Sixth and made me realise my relationship with teachers.”
