End of term and January Arrangements.
School will finish for all students on Friday 17 December at 12:35pm. As a festive treat, it will be a non-uniform day. Our canteen facilities will be available until 12:50pm for any student who wishes to have lunch in school. Please note that a limited menu will be on offer this day. Buses are due to leave school at 12:50pm. The following bus services will be available S1,S2,S3,S4,S5, S7(single deck bus only), S8 and S9.
Buses not running are the S6, S7(double-decker) and C14.
We have been informed that there will be roadworks in the Ripponden and Barkisland area for much of January which may affect some services. The bus companies have informed us that the services should still be in place but if you have any concerns, please use the following numbers:

Staggered Start to School in January
The Department for Education has asked all schools to offer one Lateral Flow Test (LFT) to students in Years 7 and above prior to their return. Students are then encouraged to continue with the twice weekly LFT programme at home (we recommend tests are to be taken on Sunday and Wednesday evenings). As a result, there will be a staggered start to students returning to school.
Please see the table below for details of when your child’s year group will be offered the LFT and their date of return. You are not required to attend with your child if they are over the age of 12. Students under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. If you have previously given consent, then this will be used to confirm consent on this occasion, however, where consent has not previously been given then please email Kendall Hardman-Saiao at if you wish your child to be offered a LFT.
