Well done to our fantastic group of Sixth Formers who reached the finals of the National Skills Challenge, one of just 23 teams from 200 to reach the final stage.
Rebekah, Jessica, Cerys, Maisy and Mollie travelled down to NatWest HQ in London where they had to give a professional business pitch in front of judges, presenting a new campus in Singapore for the UCFB sports university brand. Their well researched presentation included marketing, mascots and merchandise, as well as the stadium and courses they chose.
The team did a really amazing job, only narrowly missing out on being in the top seven. It was our first year taking part and we were really impressed by the standard of some of the other pitches. We're excited to try again next year. What a fantastic learning experience.
