What Parents and Carers Need to Know About Anime
National Online Safety has released a new guide for parents and carers. This week they have focused on one of the most popular forms of media in the modern day, anime.
Fan bases span across multiple generations, so like with television and film, there’s different content for different audiences. The cartoonish art style can lead people to assume that all media of this type is child friendly, but that’s not always the case. There are plenty of anime films and series that centre around adult themes.
The latest guide by National Online Safety delves deeper into anime and identifies the risks that parents and carers should be aware of.
