Hats off to Covéa Insurance who have provided work experience for all 270 of our Year 11 students this week. They have learned plenty through getting stuck into an activity of developing an insurance product. We’ve had all sorts of unique ideas from tattoos to video games consoles. The students have been a credit to Ryburn and really impressed us with their creativity.
It’s been a really valuable opportunity to develop professional skills and get an insight into employment that will be useful to them whatever careers they seek to go into. Even having the experience of being in a workplace environment will help them to feel more confident about applying for jobs and going to interviews in the future.
Huge thanks to Laura and all the Covéa staff who helped. We love local businesses investing their time in our students!
