Ryburn’s pupil intake has a broad mix of abilities and start the school at an attainment level broadly in line with national averages. By the end of Key Stage 4, pupils achieved progress significantly above average and overall attain levels above national averages.

Ryburn’s Progress 8 Score of 0.22 is above average - this score is an average showing how much students made between the end of KS2 and KS4. It shows that overall our students make more progress, on average, than students across England who got similar results at the end of Key Stage 2.
Number grades replaced letter grades in GCSE results in 2017. The highest grade is a 9, which is equivalent to slightly above the old A* grade. Grade 4 is a pass, and grade 5 is a ‘strong pass’, equivalent to a high C.
English Baccalaureate (EBacc) is simply a set of core subjects which are used as an accountability measure. This are: English Language and Literature, Maths, Science, Geography or History and a language.
Due to the cancellation of exams, the Government has announced that it will not publish any school educational performance data based on tests, assessments or exams for 2020.
