What if I am self isolating due to coronavirus?

Under current guidance, students are asked to self-isolate at home for 7 days if they show symptoms of coronavirus or for 14 days from the first symptom if someone else in their household does. The key symptoms are a high temperature and a new persistent cough.

We would like students in self-isolation at home to continue learning at home through the websites linked below, if you are well enough to do so.

We hope you’re feeling better soon and we thank you for staying at home and doing your bit to help protect our community.

How to log on

Students should have their own log in details for Seneca Learning, Bedrock and GCSE Pod but if they are having difficulties logging on please email admin@rvhschool.co.uk for assistance.

To log on to Mathswatch, use the following details:

  • Log in: student@rvhs (i.e.jbloggs@rvhs)

  • Password: Ryburn123!

You will need a computer and internet access to use these. If your child does not have access to the Internet please contact Mr. Thorley by phoning the school on 01422 823070 or by email on m.thorley@rvhschool.co.uk and we will provide work.

If the decision is made by the Government to close schools then a more detailed and tailored work will be made available to all students. We will contact you if this occurs.
